Abhishek Bachchan’s victory dance in Ghoomer climax was daughter Aaradhya’s idea: ‘It was a beautiful moment for me’ | Bollywood News
Celebrity kids being on a film set is normal, but how many of them help their parents enhance their performance? Well, Aaradhya Bachchan recently did that when she was with Abhishek Bachchan on the set of R Balki’s Ghoomer. The movie has Abhishek playing a cricket mentor who trains a young cricketer, played by Saiyami Kher, who loses her right arm.
The trailer of the film has Abhishek doing a victory dance at the end. Speaking about in an interview with Bollywood Spy, he said, “It was a very beautiful moment for me in our film. I am happy we managed to capture it, and obviously thanks to the people behind it who came up with the idea as well.”
The film’s director took Abhishek’s permission before elaborating on the ‘people’ mentioned by him. He then shared, “Abhishek was talking to Aaradhya and was telling her, ‘This is the end of the film.’ She had this beautiful suggestion, ‘Why don’t you do a little ghoomer thing in the end and walk away?’”

The filmmaker further credited Aaradhya for being “the creator of that movement of Ghoomer”. Appreciating the young girl, Balki added, “That was Aaradhya’s first idea. For a child to have an idea and understand this stuff requires a lot of depth and love and I really want to thank her for that.”
Aaradhya Bachchan was born to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan on November 16, 2011, four years after their marriage. She is mostly seen accompanying her mother on her international work trips, and the three of them often take vacations together.
Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher starrer Ghoomer is all set to hit theatres on August 18. Ahead of the release, the film is receiving good reviews from the film fraternity.
